Objectives and Actlvlties
The purpose of Coventry Food Network is to promote the voluntary sector for the benefit of the public in
Coventry, Wa￿iCkshIre, and its environs by providing advice, support. information, and training to voluntary
organisations working to relieve poverty.
During this period, CFN focused on addresslng food insecurity by distributing funds to organisation5 that
provide food support. Additionally, the CFN provided advice and support to 15 food hubs across Coventry.
ensuring efficient OP8rations and the delivery of food to thos6 in need.
The trustees confirm they have had due regard to the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit when
planning aGtivities.
Achlevements and Performanco
Thls year. the CFN partnered with several funding bodies to ensure sustainable support forfood hubs. These
partnerships enab16d significant progress in the following areas-
Funding Distribution= Financial resources wer8 allocated to local organisations. empowering them to
expand their outreach and support services.
Food Hubs Support.. Adwce and operational guldan* were provided to 15 food hubs, strengthening
their capacily to meet growing demand.

Collaboration.. Partnerships with funding bodies enhanced the ability to identlfy and address communty
needs effectively.
Through these efft)rts. Coventry Food N&twork direclly contributed to th8 alleviation of poverty and hunger in
the region.

Coventry Food Ne￿Ork is conslitut8d as a charitabl8 organlsationlregistered charity, governed by a board of
trustaes. Trustees rn8et rggularly to discuss strategy, approve funding allocations, and ov@rsee the
organisation's operations.
The trusteés are ¢ommitt6d to maintalning strong governanc8 Structures to ensure the effective d61ivery of the
CFN'S objectives.
Financial Rovlew
The charity's incomo during the year was derived from grants and donations secured from funding partners. All
funds were directad towards achieving the charity's objectives of supporting voluntary organisalions and
addressing food insecurity.
The trusteos are satisfied that the charity's r880urces wore managed effectively and in line with its mission.
Plans for the Futura
Looking ahead. Coventry Fc4)d Network aims to:
Expand support lo additional food hubs in the region.
Strenglhen partnerships with funding bodiss to secure Iong-tenn suslainabilily.
Provide further training and resources to improve the efficiency and impact of voluntary organisations
addressing food poverty.

As the trustees of the ch8rity, you are responsible for the preparation of the financial statements
in accordance with the requlrements of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act).

Chartered Certified Accountants, which is one of the listed bodies.
Your attention is drawn to the fact that the charity has prepared financial statements in
accordance with Accounting and Reporting by Charities preparing their accounts In accordance
with the Flnancial Reportlng Standard applicable in the UK.
l understand but this has been done for linancial staternents to provide a true 8nd fair view in
accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Practice etfective for reporting periods
beginning on or after 1 january 2015.

connection with the examination glving me cause to believe that in any material respect
