Ob'ectives and activities
To further or benefft the residents of the villages of Burgh-on-Bain and
Girsby and the neuhbourhood, without discrimination as defined by the
Equality Act 2010, by associating together the said residents and the
local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to
advance educatK)n and to provide facilrties in the interests of social
welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation wrth the objedive of
improving the conditions of life for the residents.

securing the future of the historic monument, the Church of St Helen's, by
raising funds to maintain. repair, restore and preserve the fabric of the

As and when funds are available, the Charity will, in support of th8
establishment of a communty céntre in the church building, either pay
conlradors and professionals directly to settle Ihe Costs of projects
agreed with the PCC and VCC, or make grants to the Village Church
Committee for the same purpor>e.
All trustees are volunteers and a$$i8t with the management of the charity I
through membership of a management committee.

achievements of the charity
during the year
Ran fundraising & social ev8nts (plant sales, quiz n￿ht> and
generated £1738.25 income (total funds available at year end
£3180.75).
Grant applications during the year have not been su¢¢essful yet,
more are being written. Private donors have put up th8 funds to
get new heating installed before winter 2025-26, which will be
returned as and when funds are raised.
Power supply has been upgraded to 3-phase, and installation
date is set (September 20251.
Faculty (planning pemiission} has been submitted and approval
given.

No expenditufe on the church building has been made this financial year
as this depends on income from grant applications that are in progress. It
is hoped that these will be realised in 2025126.
The charity had £2918.50 in its bank account al year end, and 8 £252.25
cash float held by the Chair and no liabilities {e.g., loans). The CoMM￿ee
has set aside £2000 contribution toward Ihe electric heatin
