I report in respecl of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charrty Commission

come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives mè

The objects of the CIO are to benefit the public by relieving the suffering
of disabled animals, induding, but not limited to, domestic dogs. that
need urgent care and Irealmenl.
The charty provides grants towards the Ca￿ and Irealment of disabled
animals, particularly by supplying wheelchairs and other accessories to
registered charities and communty groups. It promotes humane
behaviour towards animals by educating the public on the welfare of
disabled animals, animal welfare in general, and the pfevenlion of cruelty
and suffering.

Pumpkin and Friends Charty are supported by nine dedicated volunteers
who oveisee the correct fffting of equipment supplied and cary out
weekly moniloring of each animal. This ensures Ihat the equipment is
being used effectivety to improve the animal's qualty of life.

Achievements and performance
In April 2024, we hosted our annual Disability Dog Walk, an event that
brings logelher suppotters, volunteers, and beneficiaries to raise
awareness of the challenges fa￿d by disabled animals. The walk nol
only generated essential funds but also strengthened communty
engagement and promoted educalion on animal welfare. Participants had
the opportunty to meet therapy dogs and leam about the benefrts of
mobility equipment. making the event both enjoyable and informative.

during the year
In June 2025. we proudly opened our first charity shop, which also Se￿eS
as a wheelchair training and fitting cenlre. This milestone has enabled us
to provide hands-on SUPPOrt lo owners and carers, ensuring Ihal disabled
animals receive property frtted mobilty aids to enhance their comfort and
qualty of life. The shop also helps raise vrtal funds to support our
ongoing work.

able to provide treatment to such animals in need of urgent care.

The charity's principal sources of funding conlinue to be donations from
businesses and individuals, alongside income generated from fundraising
events such as the Disability Dog Walk and Halloween Dog Walk. This
year, the charty also opened rts first charrty shop, which provides an
additional revenue slream and raises awareness of ils work within the
communty.

Expenditure during the year has been directed lowards achieving the
charity's core objectives, including providing mobility aids, veterinary
care, and Tehabilrtation for disabled animals. These efforts have
contributed to improving Ihe quality of lrfe for Ihousands of animals in
need.
The trustees remain committed lo their lOn￿le￿ vision of opening a
retreat and resprte centre, which will offer specialised care and support
for disabled animals and their owners.
The charity does not currenty hold significant investments, and therefore
no formal inveslmenl policy has been adopted. However, the Irustees
would consider elhical principles in any future investment decisions.
