During the year 2023-2024, the Cylch was open from 8:30 - 4pm and could accept children from age 2-4 years old for pre-school provision and wrap around.

In addition to fees paid by parents, the Cylch receives funding from the Welsh Government Childcare Offer and also Flying Start funding. Flying Start have been funding 12 places for the duration of the year.

In 2023-2024 the Cylch received a grant of £4933.07 from Mudiad Ysgolion Meithrin which was the remainder of the set up grant.

The staffing situation in April 2023 consisted of Cylch leader, Nursery Nurse and a part time lunchtime supervisor. At the end of April, the Cylch employed an apprentice who was working towards Level 3 childcare qualification. In August 2023 the Cylch leader left and the original nursery nurse was promoted to leader. An additional nursery nurse was employed in September but unfortunately left after 3 months. Due to increasing registered children’s numbers 2 more nursery nurses were employed in January 2024.
