Allied to this was beginning on the
restoration of the building as part of the

Rochdale Hope Chapel Heritage Centre.
The Centre will be a record and testimony to
the impact that nonconformists had on
Rochdale and the surrounding area in the
19thand 20thcenturies particularly in
supporting those in poverty and being a
voice for social injustice.
