During this Financial Reporting Period, the focus was on getting the charity established to enable Saluto to help people with communication difficulties. At the end of the period, Saluto was preparing to deliver its first tranche of therapy in conjunction with Adoption Matters, a charity who support families who have adopted children.

4. Structure, governance and management

The charity is a Charitable Incorporation Organisation ("CIO") which was registered with the Charity Commission on 23[rd] June 2022 and is governed by a constitution as a Foundation CIO.

New Trustees are recruited openly and receive a full induction to the charity to enable them to gain the required information to fulfil their role. This includes being sent a set of key documents.

An annual skills analysis ensures the Trustees offer a suitable range of knowledge and skills to support the charity.

Where a skills gap is identified we aim to seek Trustees to bridge this gap.

Furthermore, due to the neglect they have endured, most children who are adopted have some form of communication difficulty which is why we plan to supply the Adoption Matters charity with Speech Therapy services during the Spring/Summer of 2024.

6. Financial Summary

The Board of Trustees have no concerns about Saluto being able to continue as a going concern.

1. The Charity will not take on projects if we don't have the resources to fulfil them

2. The Charity will not go into debt
