## **Structure, Governance and Management** 

**Governing Document:** The charity is a Charitable Incorporated Organization (CIO), registered under the Charities Act 2011. 

**Recruitment and Appointment of Trustees:** The trustees are appointed under the terms of our constitution. 

**Charitable Objectives** : Our objectives remain as set out in the constitution, aiming to improve and enhance the local Castle Dell Park, through communication collaboration. **Activities:** During the financial year, significant project activities were managed through collaborative arrangements with the Town Council and Monmouthshire County Council. These bodies held funds on behalf of the charity and directly paid third parties for services related to the development of the park, including paying a park designer and purchasing play equipment. 

**Review of the Year** : The charity has successfully overseen the raising of funds through collaboration with and funded by the Chepstow Town Council and Monmouthshire County Council. These projects are aligned with our charitable objectives and have enhanced local community facilities. 

**Statement of Financial Activities** : There has been no income or expenditure during the year. The charity has maintained its assets to support future activities as planned. During the financial year, significant project activities were managed through collaborative arrangements with the Chepstow Town Council and Monmouthshire County Council. These bodies held funds on behalf of the charity and directly paid third parties for 




services related to the development of the park, including paying a park designer at the Landmark Practice and purchasing play equipment. 

**Reserves Policy** : The charity aims to hold reserves equivalent to 12 months of operational costs. The current reserves are adequate and in line with this policy. 

**Future Outlook** : The charity plans to continue working with local government bodies to further enhance community facilities. Future projects and funding details will be coordinated with our partners. We also aim to launch a crowdfunding campaign in May 2024 alongside a large National Lottery bid to partially fund the park.
