opening statement **AL-hamdullilah another successful year.** Al-hamdullilah, we thank Allah (the ALL-MIGHTY) for another successful year. Thanks to the help of our donors, Al-waffaa Madrasah Charity was able to reach new heights and accomplish new goals. 



**Ramadan Madrasah** Iftar & Taraweeh Thank you everyone. This year, we were able to conduct our annual Ramadan Iftar for our youths. We were able to bring together over 100 young people Between the ages of 5-20 years old to share a feast together. We thank those who donated drinks. We provided barbecued chicken, chips, pizza, fruits, desserts along with beverages. We thank all of our volunteers, who helped us on the day. Your helped enabled us to run the gathering in a safe and organised manner. 






## **Ramadan East Africa Project** 

- Thanks to the support of all our donors, 

- volunteers and all others who helped us, we were able to feed 2 different communities in Africa (Kenya, Tanzania). **Kimilili, Kenya** 

- Thanks to your help we were able to provide Iftar the 30 days of Ramadan. We fed approximately 100 people every night. In addition, we provided Suhur (morning meal) in the last 10 days of Ramadan to aid people staying in the Mosque in Kimilili in the final days of Ramadan. **Zanzibar, Tanzania** 

- In Zanzibar, we fed people in need in several villages; including orphans and widows. Alhamdullilah, your generous donations helped to feed 20 families for the whole month of Ramadan. 






- **Summer Break Awards** 

- As part of our work to encourage and celebrate the youth of our Madrasah, we held a summer ceremony for our pupils to celebrate their efforts throughout the year. 

- For their hard work in learning the 

- Islamic religion, behaviour and their Memorisation of the Qur'an. 

- We awarded students with gifts, 

- such as customised jumpers, gift packs and snacks. 

- We believe these recognitions are essential to encourage the youth and to let them know that their 





- **Arafah Day** 

- On the day of Arafah, we organised a 

- community day for our youth, parents and the community at large. 

- We conducted our event by welcoming parents, pupils and other community members. 

- Our program consisted of learning and remembering the sacrifices of prophet Abraham and his family; as well as 

- learning about the importance of that day of Arafah as part of the Major Islamic Pilgrimage (Hajj). 

- We concluded by distributing gifts.
