The Knights and Ladies of<br>Marshall is a Catholic friendly society<br>supporting St. Antony's winter homeless<br>project.|

In particular,<br>we assisted St Antony’s Church’s winter<br>homeless project aimed at offering<br>temporary shelter and food at the church.<br>Volunteers from the CIO helped to prepare<br>the hall with beds, mattresses, sheets,<br>duvets and covers, blankets, etc; find<br>suitable accommodation after the winter<br>homeless project in St Antony’s; gain skills<br>through formal vocational training, leading to<br>employment, and increase confidence<br>through learning.<br>The CIO has specifically provided funding for<br>vocational training to one homeless person<br>who was part of the St Antony’s homeless<br>winter project.  The homeless person has<br>completed a plumbing course and moved<br>into supported youth accommodation. He is<br>working in construction while he looks for his<br>first job in plumbing.|
