(a) Accounting Conventlon
Thc accounts are prepared under the historical cosl convcntion.
The financial stst¢ments have prepared in accordance with the statement of Recommended Practice..
Accounting and Repofling by Charities preparing their accounts in 4￿rdance with the Financial
Reporting Stand8rd applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (Charities SORP FRS 102 and the
Charities Act 2011).
JN UK FOUNDATION constitutes a public benefit entity as defined by FRS 102

All incoming resource5 are included tn the statement of financial ￿tIvitIeS when the charity is entitled to
the incoTT)c and the amount can be quontified with reason&ble accur&cy. The followin8 specific policies are
applied lo particular categorie5 of income..
Voluntary income is received by way of grants, donations and gift and is not conditional on the delivery of
a spccifi¢ perfomAnce by the compBny. and is reco8nised when the Charity becomes Uncondition￿lY
entitled lo the grant.
