dl The church has consistently hosted weekly fellowship meetings, includlng fastlng and prayer
sessions. youth gatherings, and Bible studies. These gatherin8s nurture a Sense of belonging and
spiritual development, equipping individuals to contribute p051tively to their communities.
In organizing these octivities, the Trustees have strictly adhered to the guidance on public benefit a5
set out by both the Charity Commission and the UK Government, ensuring that all efforts align with
the broader interests of societv.
Financial Re¥lew
This reporting period marks our charity's second year review, set against the backdrop of ongolng
challenges stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, Gaza war and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
These global crises have profoundly impacted the livelihood of our local communily, e5c3lating the
demand for our services. As a small charity, we are acutely feeling the strain. particularly in light of
the rising c05t of livin& which make5 our mission even more challenging.
Despite facing s18nrficant financial constraints and the challenge of securing support from local
government, we managed to raise £6,923 and spent £6,713, leaving a modest surplus of £209 for
thi5 financial year. However, this doe5 little to offset the ongoing financial strain, with our over311
cash funds still at a deficit of £3,165. Given these hard5hip5, any leads or guidance on securing grants
would be greatly appreciated, as additional funding would enable us to expand our support to a
wlder community in need.
Reserves Pollty
The trustees have determined that the charity fund is limited so used only for essential operation5 of

Risk Statement
The trustee5 have reviewed the risks exposed to a small charity operating with no employees.
Appropriate procedures are in place to regularly identify, monitor and review these risks.

De5Plte our commendable efforts to a5SlSt individuals facing disadvantages and vulnerability in our
community, the profound impact of the cost-of-living crSsis cannot be overlooked. We have diligentlv
provided support, includin8 weekly prayer5 accompanied by hot and cold meals and bevera8es.
While the charity contemplates establishing a care facility for the needy soon, securinB funds has
become an arduous challen8e. Donors and local organizations/councils are proving hesitant to
contribute, anil the e5calatin8 Cost of living 15 significantly impeding the daily operation5 of the
charity.

The trustees have the pleasure of submitting the Report and Accourbt5 for the year ended 31 March
2024.
Objects of the charity
The charity's principal charitable objectNe is to advance the Christian faith. To this end, It seeks to
demonstrate the Christian faith in action by being a church in the comfflunities of Harrow and
London.
6o¥ernment
The policy and operating decisions of the charity rest with the trustees who meet regularly to
monitor the activities of the Charity. New trustees are appointed by the existing trustees, by
majority vote.
Review of Attivltles
The Church is not a building. but a gathering of ordinary people of different ages and backgrounds.
whose lives have been changed by Jesus Christ. the Son of God. The New Testament reveals the
Church as a community of people, properly taught and cared for, who by loving and seNing jesus
Christ, we're also committed tu love and care for each other and to brin8in8 a blessin8 to the area in
which they live. Gate of Heaven International Ministries.. its trustees, elders and member5 are
committed to the restoration of those New Testament principles. It is not alone in thls,. it is one of
many Churches in this country and a51 over the worfd that is re-discovering the excitemellt of
knowing Jesus Christ. The vision is to see the people come Into this experience of knowing Jesus as
their Lord, Saviour, and friend.

gatherinBS provide opportunities for worship, prayer, and mutual 8uIdan￿, fosterinB spiritual
growth and strengthening communal bonds.

assist newcomers in integrating into their communities. Particular attention is given to individuals
facing social or economic hardships, such as thuse experiencing homelessness or seeking refuge,
ensuring they feel welcomed, supported, and emFMiwered to rebuild their lives.
cl With a deep commitment to serving society, church member5 have dedicated themselves to acts
of kindne55 and service, often working quietly behind the scenes. They vislt the sick, support the less
fortunate, and em￿dY the love of Christ through their selfless actions, contributing to the well-
