**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO ADVANCE THE MATHEMATICAL EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE UK, UP TO AND INCLUDING PHD STUDY.

**Activities:** We run the Maths Circles programme. Maths Circles are out-of-class maths clubs for secondary school pupils. They aim to develop students' mathematical thinking and expand their mathematical curiosity. Participation in Circles supports high-attaining students (particularly from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds) to develop their mathematical excellence.
