Muslim Family Aid is constituted as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). The CIO was registered with the Charity Commission on 13th June 2022 with its charity number being 1199274. The CIO is governed by a Board of Trustees. Trustees meet at least 4 times per calendar year. They are elected and opted under the terms of the Articles of Association. Overall responsibility for the management of Muslim Family Aid rests with the board of trustees. There is no chief executive officer. The day-to-day affairs are headed by all the trustees. All Major decisions are taken collectively by the trustees and all the trustees give their time freely. The trustees are unpaid, and details of any related party transactions are disclosed as applicable in the notes to the accounts.
Risk Review
The trustees have assessed the major risks to which the charity is exposed, in particular those related to the operations and the finances of the CIO and are satisfied that systems are in place to manage our exposure to major risks.
Our Objective:
To advance the Islamic faith, and through the provision of the charity serving all communities and to support and alleviate the suffering globally. Also to work with other organisations with similar aims and by supporting and initiating projects.
Background
Some concerned Muslims came together to form a charity to help and support the local community and the general public/mankind. The Charity was registered as a foundation Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) on 13[th] June 2022
We seek to acquire members on a regular monthly contribution of £5, and we acquired about 75 applicants. Hence, the charity benefits from fix monthly income.
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during this year.
Food Relief for Syria. Water well/Hand Pump in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Uganda Food Packs in Yemen, Pakistan and Mauritius. Ramadhan contribution to EIC and Rumi Mosques in North London.UK. Regular food contribution to the homeless through support centres. Used clothes for Pakistan and UK Charities.
Sponsoring 2 orphans for durations between 2-3 years.
During the financial year ended 31 December 2022, there were no serious incidents that the charity failed to report to the commission. The charity did raise funds from the public. Our charity does not work with a professional fundraiser. We do not work with a commercial participator. Muslim Family Aid do not make any grants. Spending on the construction project is the main way our charity carries out its purposes. During this financial year end, our charity did not receive income from contracts, from central government or a local authority and the charity did not receive income from outside of the UK. Muslim Family Aid is a charity organisation that operate entirely in the UK.
