Supporting Families When They Need It
Most
At the core of The Little Ted Foundation’s
mission is a simple belief: every family with
a seriously ill child deserves precious time
together, surrounded by care, comfort, and
compassion. This year, we directly
supported 32 families with seriously ill
children & 10 bereaved families who have
faced the unimaginable loss of a child by
providing:

36 fully funded getaways, giving

families cherished time to rest, connect and create memories • 3 hospital support grants, easing the financial strain for families spending extended periods in hospital • 3 memory-making grants, helping families embrace every second together in meaningful ways Spreading Joy at Christmas Our 2023 Christmas campaign was a shining highlight of the year. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our community, we: • Delivered over 200 gifts to children spending Christmas in Nottingham’s QMC • Supplied large snack boxes full of goodies to every single children’s ward in Nottingham Children’s Hospital • Ensured that every child in hospital at Christmas received a special gift, and that families felt remembered and supported Raising Funds, Raising Hope This year’s fundraising efforts were nothing short of inspiring. Our community went above and beyond: • Our Charity Ball at Goosedale was a resounding success and a night to remember • Miles for Mainey raised over £1,000, showing how love and memory can fuel meaningful action • Mitch and Ian completed 10 races in 10 months, embodying dedication and determination • St Nicolas C of E Primary School chose us as their Charity of the Year and raised an incredible £2,000+ • Walter Halls Primary School raised over £500 at their summer fair • Kang Han Taekwondo Club – Lowdham raised an amazing £972, kicking their way into our hearts with their support • Charity football matches and cricket matches brought communities together, raising vital funds through fun, friendly competition • Supporters ran half marathons, swam miles, hosted bake sales, raffles, and took on the UK’s highest peaks • Three beautiful weddings chose to support us in lieu of guest favours, spreading love even further

policy for holding reserves
stating why they are held

any ongoing overhead commitments, such
as staff salaries or premises costs. As a
result, the charity does not need to
