**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO (OBJECTS) ARE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF YOUNG PEOPLE LIVING IN COVENTRY AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY PROVIDING GRANTS THAT MAY BE USED TO:(A) ADVANCE THEIR EDUCATION;(B) ACCESS SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS;(C) RELIEVE THEIR FINANCIAL HARDSHIP; AND/OR(D) ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES, PROVIDED IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.

**Activities:** The Richard Gibbs Foundation aims is to make practical improvements in social mobility for young people within the Coventry/Midlands area. The foundation provides access to support and grants that may be used for the purpose (but not exclusively) to: - Advance education; - Develop skills and experience; - Relieve financial hardship; - Enable the participation of recreation
