|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|The main activity during the reporting<br>period has been internally focussed with<br>the completion of operational documents.<br>The TARN Foundation has continued to be<br>a member of the NCVO and we are using<br>their guidance and templates.<br>Trauma audit in the UK has a changed<br>significantly and during the reporting period<br>it became clear that TARN (the Trauma<br>Audit and Research Network), for which the<br>TARN Foundation was set up to provide<br>educational support, was due to close and<br>transfer its work to a new organisation<br>within the English National Health System.<br>This has meant that the Trustees decided<br>not to raise any income during the reporting<br>period as there was uncertainty about<br>whether any funds raised could be used for<br>the purposes set out in the TARN<br>Foundation’s objects. In 2024 the future of<br>TARN will become clear and the trustees of<br>the TARN Foundation will be able to make<br>decision about the future.|
