Charitable Objectives:
To promote sustainable development for the benefit of the public by:
(a) the preservation, conservation and the protection of the environment and the prudent use of resources; and
(b) the promotion of sustainable means of achieving economic growth and regeneration.
Sustainable development means “development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”
2. To promote ethical standards and conduct in business and enterprise through the provision of education and advice to businesses and by encouraging the adoption and application of high standards of business ethics and governance and thereby:
(a) maximising the material positive impact of business activities on people and the environment affected by such activities; and
(b) minimising the negative effects of business activities on people and the environment affected by such activities
And in furtherance of objects 1. and 2. above, to promote study and research in subjects relating to sustainable development and sustainable and ethical business practices provided that the useful results of such study are disseminated to the public at large
