’ – Annual Trustee s Report 2022 2023
Our first year of being a new charity has been very exciting and successful.
We started off by celebrating the Queen’s Jubliee in June. We held a two day event. It started with a live band and bar on the Saturday evening with various raffles and ticket sales to raise money for the field. Then on Sunday we organized a families fun day and football tournament, with various stalls, afternoon teas, children’s games etc.
The field is constantly being used by Aberporth Football Club on a weekly basis for their league games. Various children’s groups also us our open space for recreational sport games e.g. football, cricket, etc. Junior football also used to field facilities, U6’s and U8’s Aberporth Mini Minors.

Then in December to finish off the year a 1[st] Successful Santa Run was organised from the community field. A 5K run and then back to the field for bacon rolls and hot chocolate. A children’s race was also run as well.
In our first year continuous development and tidying up of the sport & leisure field was carried out. The community came out to litter pick, tidy area’s up etc.
Next year our aim is to try and secure new funding for various developments and hold more events for our community.
