Strncturel governance and management
Eastbourne Gra￿ Baptist Church is an independent Christian church. The church is a CIO and is
governed by a constitution. The trustees of the church are the Pastor. Elders and Deacons,
appointed by ballot by the church members as stipulated in the constitution. The trustees (Pastor.
elders and deaconsl manage the ministry and the practical rbeed5 Ot the church in accordance with
the constitution.

Objertlves and Achievements
The object of Eastbourne Grace Baptist Church is to advance the Christian faith for the public beneflt
in accordance with the summary statement of beliets and practi￿ as outlined in the constitution.
In pursuance of this, public worship services consisting of sung praise, bible readings, prayer and bible
preaching are held in the church building on Sunday mornings and evenings and on Thursday
evenin85. These se￿iceS are open to all. The Lord continues to bless the Church with In¢￿as5n8
congregations.
All services are live-streamed on YouTube and all sernions have been uploaded to °Sem)on-Audio"
an international on-line repository of Christian preachin8 and teaching available to all via the internet.
A monthty service continues to be held in a l(Kal care home. From time to time members of the team
are asked to Vlsit residents in their rooms.
Open-air outreach is undertaken by means of open-air preachin8 and tract distribution.
Various UK charities. supporting the relief of poverty and the advancement of the Christian faith in
the UK and overseas are supported by IMelve monthly gifts. Examples of charities supported in this
way are Christian Compassion Ministrles (the Philippinesl. Caring for Lrfe IUKI, Mombasa Mission
(Kenyal. DaylighLPrison Ministries {UKI.
At the request of the I(￿al authority the church building was mode available for use 35 a pollin8
station in the general election.
During the year the church as a CIO became the registered owner of the church building by means of
a no cost transfer from the previous trustee: the Fellowship Property Trust.

Income and expenditure
Church income is almost exclusive￿ frorn voluntsry contributions from church members and
member5 of the congregation, through collection boxes at the church and through monthly 8ivin8 via
BACS. We are thankful to the Lord that gNing has remained generous.
Expenditure comprises a ministerial stipend and associated costs. maintenance of the church building
and facilities. utilitie5 and various services eg broadband, Semon-Audio.
As noted above twefve UK charitie5 are supported by monthly gifts.

   - I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31[st] December 2024. 

- **Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation **basis of report** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

**Independent** I have completed my examination.  I confirm that no material matters have **examiner's statement** come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect: 

- accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or 

- the accounts do not accord with the accounting records 

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
