The Friends of Prettygate, is a charity raising money for Prettygate Schools. We raise money by running events for the school, and in some cases involve the wider local community.

We have 3 trustees and parent/family and teacher volunteers and committee members who help at events.

Events are planned by the trustees, with assistance from committee members. We try to engage new members to join the committee through regular meetings.

Our aim is to raise funds for the school to enrich the pupil's experiences. We do this by organising events for children and families attending the school. This also enables engagement throughout the school community.

During the financial year 23/24 we have run a variety of events including Firework night, summer fayre, Christmas fayre and quiz nights, as well as many others. This has enabled the charity to fund school trips, gardening supplies and discos as well as many other enriching opportunities.
