## **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**

In the first year of operation, and after the end of the Coronavirus restrictions the Charity has gone from strength to strength.

We have been able to hold regular church services in St. John of Rila Chapel in the Bulgarian Embassy in Central London. The congregation has been growing steadily and consistently.

The Charity has obtained permission from the Bulgarian government, the Bulgarian Patriarchate as well as from the British authorities to renovate and extend the Chapel of St. John of Rila for the benefit of the growing congratulation. Since we were able to open a bank account in 2022, we have run a successful online and in person fundraising campaign and have managed to secure funds to start the renovation process as well as to maintain the services.
