## **Description of the charity’s trusts**

Constitution

- Type of governing document (eg. trust deed, constitution) Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO)

- How the charity is constituted (eg. trust, association, company) - Initial trustees were made up of local resident volunteers

- Trustee selection methods - As there has been no major activity no changes have been made

- (eg. appointed by, elected by) to trustees

- - Our secretary stepped down and we are actively looking to replace them. In the meantime we handle minute-taking as a team.

- - If someone was to step down we would look for further volunteers and they would be approved by the Chair

- - Every charity trustee must be a natural person. - No one is entitled to act as a charity trustee whether on appointment or on any re-appointment until he or she has expressly acknowledged, in whatever way the charity trustees decide, his or her acceptance of the office of charity trustee.

## **Additional governance issues (Optional information)**

You **may choose** to include additional information, where relevant, about:

- policies and procedures adopted for the induction and training of trustees;

   - - Regular Meetings with all trustees present as available - Minutes kept, accounts approved and audited by external examiner

   - - Decisions made by a majority of all trustees

- the charity’s organisational structure and any wider network with which the charity works;

- relationship with any related parties;

- trustees’ consideration of major risks and the system and procedures to manage them.
