sufficient to make grants to Towcester Studio Band in accordance with its grant making policy,
towards the costs of items which would not constitute everyday activity.
Two donations have been made totalling £1,259.31 covering the costs of replacing percussion
equipment, and provision of concert music folders. Note: in addition, a payment of £133 was made
in error to the charity and forwarded to Towcester Studio Band to rectify this.
Snare drum - a donation was made to cover the purchase of a new snare drum to replace one
that had broken.
Concert folders - a donation enabled the purchase of a full set of concert folders to give a more
professional presence on stage for formal concerts
Reserves Policy
The Trustees have not adopted a specific reserves policy since the demand for grants will be
dependent on Towcester Studio Band's needs and request for support.

Fundraising Activities
The charity is supported by generous monthly donations from its membership and from donations
received from other sources. The charity will seek to increase its income through approaches to
charitable trusts and foundations, the corporate sector and lottery funds, as appropriate.
Risk Management
The Trustees have considered the risks the charity may be subject to and are working on a Risk
Register to be reviewed annually.

named Friends of Towcester Studio Band.
