The trustees are pleased to present their annual trustees’ report together with the financial statements of the charity for the period 26 May 2022 to 30 September 2023.
Governance and management
The charity is operated under the rules of its CIO Association adopted 26/05/2022
The objects of the CIO are;

to assist in the protection, conservation, promotion and development of Meersbrook heritage park in Sheffield for the leisure, recreation, enjoyment and benefit of the people of Sheffield;

the care, maintenance, development and management of the Victorian walled garden in Meersbrook park, Sheffield and its enjoyment and development as an ornamental leisure garden and for growing food, for the benefit of the public;
Summary of the main achievements during the period
The organisation was founded in 2022 in order to take over the activities of Meersbrook Park user trust and enable those activities to benefit from charitable status. Closing down the old organisation has taken longer than anticipated and for this reason there has been no activity and no transfer of assets/income.
