The dub organises and publicises at least one "open day. each year to attrad new playets from the local cximmunty. It also attends various local Communty events with the same purpose. The dub is open to all with no restrictions on access to membership. Section D Achievements and performance Th8 dub successfully mana3ed to r8cruit suffiaent new members to repla￿ those who. inevitably move away or'retlfe" from the sport. Our membership remained almost at the same level as the previous year. We finally completed Protract￿ negotiations with our landlord. Thatcham Memrial Foundation. of a new 20 year lease of our dubhouse and green. This has placed a massively increased finanaal burden on the dub which we have addressed by hcthing 3" party events in our dubhouse and significantly increasing membership fees. We were eased to note that we lost no playing members as a result of this increase. In order to meet the instructions of the Charity Commission the managerrÉnt of the dubhouse licensed bar was outsourced passed to separate limrted company. THATBCB Ltd. We were ￿eased to receive donations from this company equivalent lo the total of its annual profrts. On the field of play the dub enjoyed a successful season. Our men's team in the Kennet League and the Kennet LV lover 55s> League both won their regional leagues and the ￿)Unty finals.
