**Objects:** THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY OF THATCHAM AND SURROUNDING AREAS BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR LEARNING, COACHING AND PLAYING THE SPORT OF LAWN BOWLS.

**Activities:** We are a club, open to all, which, from April to September, offers the facilities to play outdoor lawn bowls. There are opportunities to learn the game from scratch with the guidance of qualified coaches and to play the game socially and competitively. We play friendly matches and in competitive local leagues. Many players take part in county and national competitions.
