|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|Break The Mould Foundation was initially<br>established to sit alongside the CIC as a<br>vehicle for developing new projects of a<br>charitable nature and. to increase<br>eligibility for some funding streams.<br>Working with a consultant,<br>commissioned by the CIC, from the mid-<br>point of the year, the main focus of the<br>organisation was to develop a strategy<br>for both the short term and longer term,<br>build project plans and ensure robust<br>policies and procedures were in place.<br>Fundraising activity commenced in<br>January 2023, primarily via applications<br>for grants from charitable trusts,<br>focusing on a new sports and mental<br>wellbeing initiative to work in schools in<br>economically disadvantaged areas. This<br>would build on the successful work<br>undertaken by Break The Mould CIC over<br>several years delivering summer holiday<br>schemes as part of the government's<br>HAF programme. Bids were also<br>submitted in relation to the<br>organisation's practical support for<br>young people and struggling families. NO<br>expenditure was incurred in year.<br>The organisation has continued fund<br>raising into the new year and will soon<br>hopefully be launching the sports and<br>wellbeing project (Young Soles), based<br>around running as an inexpensive and<br>accessible activity. The organisation has<br>also been involved with plans for a<br>potential community hub in the Liscard<br>area of Wirral. These discussions have<br>continued into the following financial<br>year.<br>The organisation is confident of<br>deliveringservices to supportyoung|





people and financially disadvantaged families in the financial year 2023/24.
