The statement of financial activities and balance sheet have been prepared in accordance with Guidance issued by the Charity Commission and comply with the Charities Act 2011, the Charity (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2(M)8 and the provisions of the Constitution of The Alina Cojocaru Foundation {"the charirf). Polldes and obiecbves The objects of the charity are the advancement of ballet. dance and the performing art5 by supporting the creation. development and performance of artistic productions,. and the advancement of education by supporting practical training in and outreach artivities related to ballet, dance and the performing arts and by developing public understanding and appreciation of these arts. b. Artlvltles for achieving obJectl¥es The charity provides funding to support the creation, development and perforrnan of artistic works in the field of ballet. dance. music. film and other art fornis and to 5UPPOrt Acworkroom Ltd and other related organisations and indrvidua15 in providing outreach work to schools, educational establishments and the community in the field of arts. particulèrly ballet. dance and music. The trustees of the charity confirm that they have complied with the duty in section 17 of the Charities Act 2011 to have due regard to the Charity Commission's general guidance on public benefit, 'Charities and public benefft,. Review of artivities, achle¥ements and perfornn The charity was formed on 10 December 2021 with the structure of an Association CIO. It was registered with the Charity Commission, with number 1199056, on 23 May 2022. The financial statements for the year ended 30 September 2025 are the third financial statements of the charity. During the year the charity received a donation of £2.(1 to SUPPOrt the b311et commissioned byAlina Cojocaru, La Strada, and a grant of E2.(KMJ was made to Acwofkroom Ltd during the year to support the touring costs of La Strada. The ballet has a story line based on the tla55ic 1954 film La Strada directed by Federico Fellini. with music for the ballet drawn from Nino Rota film music. La Strada wa5 presented in five public performances at Sadlerfs Wells in January 2024. Further perfomiances took place in February 2025 in Parma, ltsly. and Bonn. Gemany. During the year the charity reiVed donations of E6.5(NJ to support London City Ballet and a grant of £6.500 wa5 made to London City Ballet to support productions in which Alina Cojocaru was performing. The results of the charitys activities are summarised on page 7.

Reserves poliry The trustees aim to maintain reserves at a level that would cover any future commitments or expenditure. The trustees consider that the amount of reserves will be dictated by future donations and will consist of donations received by the charity that are yet to be donated to individual charities and causes. b. Prlncipal fvNling The charity is principally funded by donations from private individuals. trusts and foundations. Strncture, governance and management a. Constitutlon The charity is an A550ciation Charttable Incorporated Organisation {"CI0"). wtth Constitution dated 23 May 2022. The registered charity number 15 1199056. b. Method of appointment or election of Trustees The management of the charity is the resFKJnsibility of the trustees who are elerted and co-opted under the terms of the Constitution. ¢. Oryanisational structure arxl dedslon making The organisational structure and decision making of the tharity is governed by its Constitution. At the trustees, meetings of the CIO the trusiees agree the strategy and areas of activity of the charity. This includes donations, reserves and risk management policies and performance. The day- to-day administration of donotions is the responsibility of the trustees. Plans for future perlods The funding of the charty will continue to be reviewed. The trustees expect to make further grants to Acworkroom Ltd to fvnd additional performances of La Strada as well as to fund the creation, pri)duttion and presentation of other ballet and dance works. The statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention with items recognised at cost or transaction value unless otherwise stated in the relevant notes to these accounts. Surrey Th10 6PF. 1.2 Income All income is recognised once the charity has entttlernent to the income. it is probable that the income will be reived and the amount of income receivable can be measured reliably. Income tax recoverable In relation to investment income is recognised at the time the investment income is receivable. 1.3 Expenditure Expendlture on charitable activities is incurred on directly undertaking the activlties which further the charity's objettNes. as well as any associated support costs. 1.4 Grant making Government grants relating to tanEible fixed assets are treated as deferred income and released to the Statement of financial activities upon the completion of the relevant performance-related condr(ions. Other grants that are not subjert to performance- related conditions are credited to the Statement of financial artivities as the grant proceeds are received. Prepayments are valued at the amount prepaid net of any trade discounts due. 1.7 Cash funds The charity holds both restricted funds. held to finance grants to AC Workroom Ltd and London City Ballet for the creation, production and staging of ballets. a5 well as unrestricted funds. 1.8 Fund accounting General funds are unrestricted funds which are available for use at the discretion of the Trustees in furtherance of the general objectives of the charity and which have not been designated for other purposes. Restricted fvnds are funds which are to be used in accordance with specific restrittions imposed by donors or which have been raised by the charity for particular purposes. The costs of raisin8 and administering Such funds are charged against the specific fund. The aim and use of each restritted fund is set out in the notes to the financial statements.
