## Overview 

Founded in 2022, Kids Konnect Ltd. continues its commitment to empowering disadvantaged and vulnerable young girls in Hackney and Haringey. In 2025, we strengthened our traumainformed, culturally sensitive approach to supporting girls facing poverty, social isolation, and mental health challenges. 

Our work focused on creating safe, inclusive spaces where girls could develop confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging, while also supporting families through practical assistance and community connection.

_2025 has been a year of consolidation, growth, and deeper community impact for Kids Konnect Ltd. Building on the foundations laid in previous years, we focused on strengthening programme quality, partnerships, and organisational resilience._ 

_We are proud of the progress made in expanding access to creative and therapeutic opportunities for children who are often excluded from mainstream provision. None of this would be possible without the dedication of our trustees, staff, volunteers, funders, and community partners._

## VISION 

A future where all children and young people —specifically targeting vulnerable young girls and women to have access to safe, nurturing, and empowering opportunities to thrive. 

## MISSION 

To provide inclusive after-school, weekend, and school holiday programmes that use creativity and wellbeing activities to support emotional healing, build confidence, and create positive life outcomes for disadvantaged children and young people.

## Programs and Activities in 2025 

## **Dance for Healing** 

## _serves 80 children weekly_ 

Launched in 2025, Dance for Healing is our flagship creative wellbeing programme supporting disadvantaged and vulnerable young girls aged 6–18 in Hackney and Haringey. Using trauma-informed dance and movement, the initiative promotes emotional expression, resilience, confidence, and mental wellbeing. 

## **Move Together: Sports & Fitness Weekend** _engages around 300 children, adults, and families_ 

A 3-day community sports and wellbeing event during Mayor’s Community Weekend 2025, providing inclusive fitness, team sports, and wellbeing activities for children, adults, and families. 

## **Holiday Activities and Food Programme** _serves 150 children_ 

## **Key highlights include:** 

- Structured dance and wellbeing sessions every weekend Targeted outreach to vulnerable girls facing barriers to arts participation Free meals and food education resources for families 

- Safe spaces for peer connection and selfexpression Culmination in a Grand Performance Show 

- Accredited AQA certificates, opening pathways to education, arts careers, and future employment 

## **Annual Performance Show** 

_engages around 1000 children, families, and community member_ 

Delivered from 5–19 August 2025, this programme offered children aged 8–15 nutritious meals, physical activity, and interactive nutrition education, fostering healthy habits and wellbeing. 

## **Camp Shalom 2025** 

## _serves 50 children_ 

A two-weeks summer programme for vulnerable and poverty- stricken children living in a cramped conditions age 8–13, combining creative activities, fitness, arts and crafts, educational and recreational trips, physical and sport programs in a safe and culturally appropriate environment. 

This event showcases participants’ talents, builds confidence, fosters community engagement, and celebrates cultural diversity among socially isolated girls in Hackney and Haringey. 

## **Bridging the Gap** 

_serves 300 children and their families_ 

Supporting over 300 disadvantaged girls and their families, this programme provides culturally sensitive aid through food parcels, clothing vouchers, hygiene kits, and urgent household support. Financial literacy workshops equip participants with skills for long-term stability, resilience, and dignity. 



## Impact and Outcomes 

Across our programmes in 2025, participants reported: 




Improved Greater Stronger social emotional engagement in connections and wellbeing and physical and sense of self-confidence creative activities belonging 

Parents and carers highlighted positive changes in children’s behaviour, confidence, and emotional regulation. 

## Outcomes and Achievements 

- Over **1900** children and young people supported in Hackney and Haringey Successful delivery of Dance for Healing, Holiday Activities, Move Together: Sports & Fitness Weekend, Camp Shalom, and Annual show. 

- Working towards **AQA certificates** , opening pathways to education, arts, and employment Distribution of food parcels, clothing, and essential support to families in need through our **Bridging the Gap project** . 


## Governance and Leadership 

**Kids Konnect Ltd.** maintains robust safeguarding policies to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants. Designated Safeguarding Leads oversee safeguarding practice, staff training, and ensure that any concerns are reported promptly to the relevant agencies. **All staff and volunteers are fully trained and DBS-checked.** 

The organisation is overseen by a committed **Board of Trustees** who provide strategic leadership, financial oversight, and ensure strong governance in line with regulatory and legal standards.

## Future Initiatives for 2026 

- Expand Dance for Healing to reach more new beneficiaries and increase AQA certifications 

- Strengthen impact monitoring and evaluation for all programmes Secure sustainable funding to ensure long-term programme delivery 

Develop leadership and governance capacity among staff, trustees, and volunteers 

- Introduce new initiatives to enhance arts, sports, and wellbeing opportunities across Hackney and Haringey 


## Conclusion 

2025 has been a year of meaningful impact, growth, and strengthened community engagement for Kids Konnect Ltd. Our programmes have empowered disadvantaged children, fostered healing, and opened pathways to education, arts, and future employment. With continued support, we look forward to building on this success in 2026, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
