5. Safeguarding Charitsble Integrity:

laws. induding Section 7 of the Charities and Trustee
Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and Section 2 of the
Charities Act (Northem Ireland) 2008.
Through these objectives. our CIO is dedicated to fostering a more
inclusive, empowered, and resilient communty for individuals of
Sudanese heritage and the wider public.

Sudanese heritage who are at risk of social exdusion or poverty. Key

Providing emergency relief, suth as food, clothing, arKI financial
assistan￿. to those experiencing severe hardship.
Running communty workshops and cultural events to foster

Organizing annual Ramadhan lftaarl Programmes to bring the
communty together, offering meals and promoting a spirit of unity
and compassion.
H¢)sting football tournaments to engage youth, encourage
physical activty. and build stronger social connections.
Arranging community gatherings that ￿lebrate cultural
heritage, enGwrage dialogue, and support integration.
Partnering with edu¢ational institutions to offer skills training and
mentorship programs, empowering indivbduals to pursue better
opportunities.
Offering mental health and wellbeing support, including
counselling and peer support networks, to address emotional and
psychological challenges.
Collaborating with housing and rehabilitation seNices to support
individuals transtlioning out of homelessness or the criminal
