Trustees’ Report For the year ended 30 September 2025

3. Impact Statement

The impact of Aslan Ministries continues to be felt in all areas touched by the activities. Much is verified anecdotally, with affirmations of personal and church “blessing” being reported, impact on peoples lives with respect to Christian encouragement, a sense of purpose being imparted and guidance being received concerning leadership vision and direction. Impact is also felt coming from the challenge to engage in world mission. Often, it’s the most displaced, ignored or neglected express appreciation for the time, effort and focus on their needs in each respective field of service, at home and abroad.

4. Financial Review

4.1 Financial Activity and Financial Position

The Charity is funded by donations from supporters. The Charity’s cash resources decreased by £46,742 (2024: £30,439) during the year to £15,715 (2024: £62,457).

4.2 Reserves Policy

The Trustees consider that, given the nature of the Charity’s work, free reserves should be equivalent to approximately 3 months’ routine general fund expenditure, plus committed future expenditure on other projects, where funds permit. The Trustees are of the opinion that this provides sufficient flexibility to cover temporary shortfalls in incoming resources and will allow the Charity to cope and respond to unforeseen emergencies whilst specific action plans are implemented. At 30 September 2025 the Charity had net free reserves of £15,715 (2024: £62,457) as follows:

The Trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and enable us to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Charities Act 2011. The Trustees also have a responsibility to safeguard the assets of the charity and to take reasonable steps to prevent fraud or any other irregularities.
