**Objects:** FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO RELIEVE DISTRESS, LONELINESS AND ANXIETY, AND REDUCE THE RISK OF SUICIDE, OF STUDENTS ENROLLED IN HIGHER EDUCATION, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, THOSE STUDYING IN LONDON, BY:3.1.1 THE PROVISION OF CONFIDENTIAL PEER-TO-PEER LISTENING AND INFORMATION SERVICES, IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY TELEPHONE, EMAIL, MESSAGING OR OTHER MEANS;3.1.2 THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION, TRAINING AND OTHER SUPPORT TO AFFILIATED ORGANISATIONS; AND3.1.3 THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION AND ADVOCACY TO PROMOTE THE GREATER UNDERSTANDING OF STUDENT MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES.

**Activities:** To provide a confidential peer-to-peer listening, information and support service via telephone, email and instant messaging to students primarily in London. We also provide information, training and other support to affiliated organisations, and information and advocacy to promote the greater understanding of student mental health issues.Established in 1971, and converted to a CIO in 2024.
