Conurvallon

Our cor6eNation approach is to restore and repair where necessary so that the unique
heritage of the Burial Ground is preserved for future generations. In January 2020 the
Friends agreed a four year conseNation and repair pr(yJramme.
By March 2024 the Friends had completed their throe year restoration and conservation
programme. This has transf0m￿l the Burial Ground. The restoration of the cottage is
now complete. However, over the w81 a￿1 cold winter of 2023124 the￿ were problems
with (x)ndensation and mould grry￿th on the intemal easl and west lirne plastered walls.
Therefore in May 2024 a compact ceilitvJ munted ventilation system was installed and
thi8 ha8 8ignificantty improved the 8itualion.
During earty 202￿. the repairs and repointing to the intemal fac* of the boundary wall8
was also completed. The overall effect has been remarkable and lifts th8 whole
appearance of the Burial Ground.
