Main Activities
The primary activities encompass providing recreational and leisure pursuits designed to enhance the wellbeing of young people. Additionally, Amani Tribe offers support and activities that facilitate the development of their skills, capacities, and capabilities. This comprehensive approach aims to empower young people to actively participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.
Public Benefit Statement
The trustees of Amani Tribe confirm that they have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit in the planning and delivery of the charity's activities. The trustees are committed to ensuring that all initiatives and services are aligned with the principles of public benefit, working to improve the lives of young people from disadvantaged communities in a meaningful and transparent way.

Trustee Selection
Apart from the first charity trustees, every trustee must be appointed for a term of three years by a resolution passed at a properly convened meeting of the charity trustees. In selecting individuals for appointment, the trustees must have regard to the skills, knowledge and experience needed for the effective administration of the CIO.
No trustees received any remuneration during the year. No trustees resigned or took up employment with the charity during the period.

During the financial year 30 March 2024 to 29 March 2025, the trustees focused on establishing the operational foundations of the charity. Key milestones achieved include:

Website development and launch (completed July 2024), enabling the charity to establish its public presence and communicate its mission.

GoCardless payment system set up (June 2024), enabling the charity to accept donations securely and in compliance with financial regulations.

Virtual address applied for (February 2025), providing a professional registered contact point and ensuring operational compliance.

Microsoft Nonprofit licence obtained, giving the charity access to professional software tools to support administration and communications at no cost.

National Lottery Awards for All England application completed (January 2025), representing the charity's first formal grant application and a significant step toward funding its programmatic activities.
The charity received two donations via the GoCardless platform totalling £19.42, together with a £2.00 verification donation made by the Founder to confirm the payment system was functioning correctly, giving total income of £21.42 for the period.

Financial Position
Amani Tribe continues to develop its financial infrastructure. The charity holds a Charity Community Current Account and is actively pursuing fundraising methods and donation channels to ensure financial sustainability. The focus remains on securing funding through grants, community fundraising, and individual donations to support the charity's mission. As the charity grows, financial strategies will continue to be developed to maintain transparency and long-term stability.

Note: Website development costs of £160 were met personally by the Founder during this financial year. No reimbursement was made in this financial year; reimbursement is intended and will be recorded in the 2026–2027 accounts.
Reserves Policy
The charity currently holds zero reserves. As an early-stage charity, all income received is directed toward operational development. The trustees acknowledge the importance of building reserves as the charity grows and will develop a formal reserves policy in the forthcoming year.
Going Concern
As a newly established charity, Amani Tribe acknowledges potential uncertainties regarding longterm financial sustainability. The charity is actively pursuing grant funding and donations to support its activities. The trustees are committed to implementing strong financial management practices and diversifying income streams to ensure the charity's long-term viability. Regular financial reviews and strategic planning will help mitigate risks as the charity develops.

Amani Tribe is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), governed by its Constitution. The charity does not currently manage any specific trusts, however the trustees are exploring opportunities to establish or partner with charitable trusts that align with its mission.
The charity has no trading subsidiaries, no employees, and no paid staff. All work during this period was carried out by the trustees and the Founder on a voluntary basis.

In the year ahead, the trustees intend to:
