The purpose of GAU is to: -
1. Undermine extremist narratives
2. Provide positive understanding of difference and diversity
3. Promote tolerance, cohesion, unity and the rejection of hate
4. Reach and empower young people
5. Deliver programmes that achieve these goals
Global Acts of Unity (GAU) will operate in the interest of the people of
the United Kingdom with a focus on its youth. GAU will promote
resilience to and the rejection of hatred, as well as encouraging critical
thinking. GAU will seek to actively involve youth in the work it
undertakes. GAU will equip young people with the tools to positively
participate in the society of tomorrow.
Global Acts of Unity stands on four pillars: Unity, Cohesion, Tolerance,
and Rejection of Hatred. As a charity GAU will work towards bringing an
end to hate by building a greater understanding of others. Our work is
designed to empower our youth away from acts of hatred, therefore
denying fodder for the extremist radicalisers. Our core work will continue
to focus on engagement with schools all over the United Kingdom.

Global Acts of Unity has been an active campaign since 2015, from Summary of the main 2019 it has operated as a CIC. Having achieved charity status in achievements of the charity May 2022 it is transitioning its accounts out of the CIC to the CIO. during the year As of November 2023 the CIC holds over £10,000 in its accounts and has secured a further £20,000 of grant funding. Accounts will have been transferred to CIO by the end of the first quarter of 2024
