During the year the following served as Trustees of the Friends Mr Nlgel autton Chalrman Mr Peter Laverlck Secretsry Mr Rlchard Rlchard$ Treasurer Mr Charles Loxley Mr Wllliam Maynard Mr Ted Chandler MrAsh Kert Mrs Athalla Atkins Alm and Purposes The primary objective of The Friends of Poling Church is to raise funds for the advancement of the Christian religion by maintaining and enhancing the Parish Church of St Nicholas Church Poling in the Diocese of Chichester, including its fabric, monuments, churchyard, curtilage, fences gates and its rights of way and as a resource in the development and assistance of the community, residents, and churchgoers of the Parish as delineated by the Diocesan map existin8 on the 1st of January 2021. Objectives and Artlvitles Our objettives are to raise funds to support the Charities aims by l. Encouraging people to make regular donations by direct debit. 2. Running various ' Vi1Sage ' events in conjunction with the P.C.C. This year we have had a Burns night Meal, an Autumn supper, a BBQ and several after church breakfasts. Review of the year On February 21 the Friends took over management of "Norfolk Trust and th undertook to use the funds as specified by the Deed of Trust dated 4 February 1949. The Trustees met twice in the year. The fund raising events raised £1316 for the Friends Members donations amounted to £2530 Gift aid received was £882 and interest on investments was £420.
