|Contribution made by<br>volunteers|Para 1.38|Market Drayton Foodbank has 1 full time and<br>1 part-time paid posts: the Foodbank Manager<br>and Assistant Manager. A team of around 35<br>volunteers perform various roles including the<br>collection of surplus food from supermarkets,<br>the processing and weighing of donated foods,<br>stores and stock management, sign-posting<br>services, maintaining web and social media<br>and client hospitality during their visits to the<br>food bank.|

The difference in dates is because<br>Trussell Trust who hold our data for us did not<br>complete the transfer until 25 July 2022<br>following our transfer to a CIO on 5 May 2022.<br>Market Drayton Foodbank has provided…<br>•<br>•<br>1028 food parcels have been distributed<br>feeding 1593 adults and 934 children, a<br>total of 2527 people.<br>•<br>44,340 kg of food was donated from local<br>people, supermarkets, businesses, both<br>small and corporate, churches, local<br>organisations and groups.<br>•<br>Child holiday meals are also provided to<br>feed school children during the school<br>holidays when they haven’t access to their<br>usual free school meals.<br>•<br>Around 100 Christmas hampers were<br>provided to families and individuals<br>•<br>Our food bank has also given top ups to<br>pre-payment electric and gas cards/meters<br>through a small fund it holds and<br>partnerships with Fuel Bank, Marches<br>Energy Agency (MEA) and other local<br>funds have helped clients through the<br>energy crisis. Signposting to council<br>services/funds.<br>•<br>Signposting services were offered to every<br>new client during that period of time, a total<br>of 196 instances have been recorded such<br>as giving out information leaflets,<br>organising on site appointment with<br>agencies on site and on-line support.<br>•<br>A Partnership with Citizens Advice<br>Shropshire was started in April 2023<br>and during the time from its<br>commencement to 30 September<br>2023: New Individuals Accessing<br>Advice – 17, Total Individuals<br>Accessing Service – 31, Individuals<br>With Financial Gains – 2, Confirmed<br>Financial Gains - £32.804.00,<br>Individuals With Debt Managed – 2,<br>Total Debt Managed For Clients -<br>£5,000.00, Individuals with Debt<br>Written Off – 0, Total amount of debt<br>written off-£0.00|
