Summary of the main
achievements of the
charity, identifying the
difference the charity's
work has made to the
circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any
wider benefits to society
as a whole.
The charity expended £26,578 to further its
objective of providing respite sailing for
families and carers affected by suicide and
the poor mental health of siblings.
Parn120
We were able to sponsor a young lad
through his STCW training in Antibes and
were able to provide secure
accommodation for himself and his
mother. He had been badly bullied and
neither my self nor the trustees felt it
appropriate to place him in a crew house.
Our work in the Channel Islands, in
addition to furthering our purpose, has led
to Papyrus maintaining its purview in the
Bailiwicks of Guernsey, Jersey and
Alderney.
