CARERS BY OPERATING A SUPPORT GROUP,
SIGNPOSTING SERVICES AND BY THE AWARD OF
GRANTS OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO FUND THE
PROVISION OF ESSENTIAL SPECIALIST EQUIPMENT,
OTHER ITEMS AND FUN DAY TRIPS AND
EXPERIENCES TO RELIEVE ISOLATION.

Family Support Group – The charity has
organised families to meet up in the last year
at various locatons to enable the children
with the conditon to interact in a safe and
enjoyable environment. The parents have
shared their experiences with each other and
been able to share their contact details to
relieve the isolaton they feel.
Cough assist vests were purchased to be
available for families when required.
Specialist footwear has been purchased for 3
families with children wearing AFO walking
aids. A replacement tablet has been
purchased and donated to a family.

Para 1.20 The main objectve of the charity this year
was to bring the afected families together
and allow them to share their experiences
with similar families and to remove the
isolaton that they feel. This was achieved
with the organisaton of day trips and
weekends at theme parks that the children
could enjoy, and the parents could atend as a
group funded by the charity.
Specialist equipment has been purchased
and gifted to families requesting
assistance.
