Activities

We provide grants to other charities and voluntary organisations who share our vision to preserve and protect physical and mental health for the benefit of the inhabitants of Chester and the surrounding areas. We aim to address health inequalities and improve wellbeing.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:to Preserve And Protect Physical And Mental Health For The Public Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Chester And The Surrounding Areas, Primarily (but Not Exclusively) In The Area Administered By Cheshire West & Chester Council And The Wirral Council Wards Of Birkenhead & Tranmere And The Ward Of Bromborough, Primarily (but Not Exclusively) By Providing Grants To Other Charities And Voluntary Organisations Which Further The Above Aims.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (scotland) Act 2005] And [section 2 Of The Charities Act (northern Ireland) 2008].
