Re$erves Policy The Trustees endeavour to reserve a level of reswves that will cnsurc the Charity can still remain sustainable. However, thi5 ycar we hav¢ had enonn¢)us di)Ticulty mailllaining our financial res¢rves. We have not bad the high level of attendance that we have had in previous years. This was due to a larger than aver&ge number of our rcgular children leaving for high school at the bcgillniDg of S¢pt¢mb¢r 2023 and fewcr children joining us from the pre-schcKyl setting. Also a change in the operating structure of the school, from which ￿'e run our serviK has caused fewer children to join the sch￿1 and the￿fore there has bccn a lower demand for childcare. Taking all of the above into consideration wc ate still in a position to go forward into our llew financial year. This has becn hclped by grant funding from the Powys CC Childcar¢ team lo cover some of the cost of wages for our sessional staft looking after ihe club's additional needs children. We are also planning to in¢￿se our fees from September to help cover the shortfall in fees due lo the lower numbers of children allending. The trnstees and rnaTragcn￿nt team of Cool Kids @ Cradoc are always a¢lively looking foT new fullding sources and the necessary training courses for their gtaff. With the help of a new business plaj) we not only hope to incrvdse rev¢nue but also provide staff with the access to the necessary training courses to enable them to move forward in their Careos. Cool Kids @ Cradoc has a dedicated team of trustees and stsff all of rccogDise that play is an important part of Children's lives. By providing quality childcare it helps parents to continue to work or return to cducation knowing their children are having fi]n whilst being well cared for. This in turn then benefits the economy as a whole.
