Activities
Silver Friends was born out of a passion to serve the older community, dedicated to providing support and companionship to lonely and isolated elderly citizens. No one should have to suffer loneliness and isolation, especially in their later years. With our exceptional volunteers we are able to offer face to face visits, outings and events. We provide transport. All services are free to access.
Objects: To Relieve The Needs Of Elderly People Who Are Lonely And Isolated Through Social Interaction Within The Local Community And To Provide Or Assist In The Provision Of Facilities For Recreational And Leisure Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life Of Those People Who Have Need For Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Age And Or Infirmity.
