Objects of the charlty
The object of the CIO is, for public benefit, the advancement of the Christian faith in Birmingham,
W8st Midlands and such parts of the Unrted Kingdom and the world as Ihe Charity Trustees may
d8cid8 from time to time.
Summary of the charity's main activities and achievements
To further the aLK)ve objects and vision, the charitys, main activities and achievements were as
follows..
The Church is a registered CIO, partnering wilh the Regions Beyond family of churches and is a
member of the Evangelical Alliance. The Church holds a series of weekend and midweek activities
and, in addition, provides f inancial support to individuals and organisations involved in Christian
activities. When planning and reviewing activitres, the Church has given due consideration to the
Charity Commission's general guidance on public benefit and, in particular, the specific guidance
on charities for the advancement of religion. We try to enable ordinary people to live out their faith
as part of the Church in our local community. The activities of the Church are overseen by its
leadership, and are carried forward both by the Church stsff, and by the extensive involvement of
vdunteers drawn from Church members and the community. The Church welcomes members and
attendees from all backgrounds with the aim of ensuring that they do not miss the opportunity lo
benef it f rom ts activities. The Church is committed to growing in diversity to ensure that it better
reflects the community it serves. The Church currenuy rents three premises where regular
meetings ar8 h81d as well as other events.
In Aston we were able to hold a community day with grant funding, wrlh over 200 people benefiting.
We also continue to run a local pantry which is providing subsided food impacting over 100 adulls
and 60 children. We provide a place ()f welcome where there are free refreshmenls, opportunity to
make friendships and signposting to SUPF)Orting services as required. We ran English conv8rsation
Glasses each week in Term time.
As well as our weekly Sunday services in Aston Ihe Church also offered additional services and
events at Christmas and Easter to provide the local community Wlth more opportunities to connect
with the Christian faith during those seasons. The Church is committed to reaching. teaching,
discipling and training Chrislians to carry out Gospel ministry in our community and further afield.
We have provided various training opportunities and continue to ensure Safeguarding is a priority.
As part of this activity, the Church is committed to start new Churches in the Birmingham area. The
Church is therefore involved with the Birmingham Collective for Church Planting, as part of a
coalition of Birmingham Churches working in partnership to facilitate the launch of new Churches in
the cty.
Redemption Hill Church meets regulady on a Sunday and mitheek in our hired facility in The
Delves Walsall. We have served the community with fundays, BBQ'S , Community meals, Warm
Welcome and youth and children's activities. We also allow the community to hire our facility. We
have been able to undertake building work to improve this Community venue with grateful thanks to
funding from Enovert Community Trust.

Living Hope West Bromwich has now begun to undertake activity at a hired facility in Hill Top.
Again the aim is to launch a Sunday service and provide community support and a facility to hire.
Grace City Church continues to meet in homes in the South of the Cty of Birmingham with Ihe aim
for meeting in a community facility on a Sunday when further growth has occurred.
The Church's funding principally comes from grfts and donations made by members of the
congregation with grants regulady being applied for. We are grateful to grant support from
Binningham Cty Council, Worthing Food Bank, Regions Beyond UK and churches in the USA.
We have supported financially the wider of Regions Beyond with a particular on Churches in
Nepal.
In planning the activities and finance, the trustees have applied the guidance on pubiic benefit
issued by the Charity Commission.
Roserves Policy
The charity aims to hold a minimum of three months of expenditure as unrestricted cash, so that
the charity could continue to operate should income and l or expenditure vary adversely. At the
year end, the charity held unrestricted cash of £4,102.

Accounting Policies
The accounts have been prepared on a receipts and payments basis and comprise a statement that shows the
charity's receipts and payments, a statement that summarises the charity's assets and liabilities and related
notes. The accountancy profession have determined that only accounts prepared in accordance with
applicable accounting standards present a 'true and fairf view and, as these receipts and payments accounts
have not {and cannoll be prepared in accordance with accounting standards, these accounts do not present
land are not intended to presentl a 'true and fair, view of the charity's f inancial activities and state of affairs.
General funds are unrestricted funds which are available for use at the discretion of the trustees in furtherance
of the general objectives of the charity. Designated funds comprise unrestricted funds that have b*n sel
asKJe by the trustees for particular purposes. Restricted funds are donations which are to be used in
accordance with specrfic restrictions imposed by donors., they include donations received from appeals for
specrfic activities or projects.

I report io the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity (Ihe Trusf) for the year ended 3110312025.
Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust. you are responsible for the preparation
basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act
2011 {'the Act").
The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year
under section 144(2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 201 IACI) and that an
independent examination is needed.
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed th8 applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
My Examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions
given by the Charty Commission.
An examination includes a review on the accounling records kept by the
harity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records.
It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the
accounts and seeking explanations from the management committee
concerning any such matters.
The procedure undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be
required in a full audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion
on the accounts.
