Daizybell Homes is a chanty dedicated to providing safe Iyispersed accommodation for wom8n and their children
who have 8XP8rienc8d violence and abuse. Daizybell Homes provides this stepping stone trom 2417 hostsl based
support via a supported tenarry to ind8p8nd8nt living
It wod($ in partnership with Resonanc£ and Wnner Trading Ltd to operate 30 leased properbes across the Cty of
Bradford for this putpose
This type of accommodation is much needed in Bradford where th8re are drfficult￿s in halping woman and Chi￿ren
move on from crisis ￿luge ac(tsnmodation back tnto the community
In the corning year the charty will seek to increase the properties available to it through other means such as
asiro from private landloid5 and, if re￿vant finan￿ is available, purchasing properties for the same purpose
The tiustees have paid due regard to guidance issued by the Charity Commission in dèciding what activitias tha
charity should undertake.

It Is the policy of the charity that unre¥trictsd funds which have not been d6signat6d for a specthc use should be
maintained at s lavel equwalent to bewn three and six month's expenditure. The trustsgs consider that reserv8S
at this lev81 will ensur& that, in the event of a significant drop in funding, they will be able to continue the charity's
current activities while consideration Is given to ways in which addits.onal funds rnay be ra￿ed. This lav81 of r85erves
has been maintained throughoLrt the year.

Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 leffective 1 January 20191. The
charty is a Public Banefit Entity as defined by FRS 102.
The charty has tsken advantage of the prOv￿lOn$ in the SORP for charities not to prepare a Statement ol
Cash Flow3.
The finanrAal ststements are p￿pa￿d in sterfing, which is the funetional Cufrancy of the charty. Monetary
amounts in these financial statements are rounded to the nearest £.
The finanaal ststements have been p￿pared undar tho historieal cost conv6nb"on. lrnodified to indude the
ravaluation of fre8hold prop8rb85 and to includ8 inv8Strnent proparties and certain financial instruments at fair
valuel. The principal accounting policies adopted are set out below.
