Trustees’ Report
This report covers the period from 28[th] February 2022, when the charity was registered, until 31[st] March 2023.
The Trust record little activity during the year, although considerable work went into its establishment, informing potentially interested parties of its existence, and the launch of a website, the work for which was done on a voluntary basis, therefore incurring no costs..
The three founding trustees were joined by Dr. Christopher Wiley on 22[nd] August 2022. Dr Wiley is a Senior Lecturer and Course Director of the BMus(Hons) Music Programme at the University of Surrey. He brings a wealth of musical knowledge and experience which will serve the Trust well going forward.
Towards the end of the reporting period, Dr Gillian Stoker, the chair of the Trust and the principal driving force behind its establishment, became ill, ultimately being diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour. As a result of her illness, the work of the Trust was put on hold.
Nonetheless, during the period the Trust was in receipt of donations as listed in the accounts below.
