(1) Weekly performances by the Liturgical choir allow the public to benefit from music-making supported by the trust. (2) The annual concert was well attended and provided a further opportunity for the public to experience music making at St Martin’s outside of the normal liturgical context. (3) Grants were made to assist with the appointment of an assistant organist and five choral scholars, fulfilling our aim to assist in the education of undergraduate and postgraduate students. |

Para 1.20 | Funding the appointment of five choral scholars for the 2022/23 academic year to the Music Foundation at St Martin in Roath. This followed a successful recruitment and audition process in June 2022. Funding of an Interim Assisting Organist to support the work of the Music Foundation at St Martin in Roath. The recruitment of 50 Friends to support the work of FOSMM Support for the Annual FOSMM concert, held on 19thNovember 2022 at St Martin in Roath and attended by many Friends and their guests. Provision of transport to re-establish the annual Cathedral trip for the Liturgical Choir of St Martin in Roath. This took place on 29thMay 2023 to the Chapel of Magdalen College, Oxford. Preparing applications to other trusts and grant making organisations to raise additional funds for the continuing work of FOSMM. |
