Shared Goods - Annual Report 2024
Another busy year for Shared Goods, providing a wide variety of clothes for men, women and children, as well as household goods, which are PAT tested where appropriate. A major challenge was operating our shop without electricity, but due to the continued energy and commitment of our team of volunteers we were still able to open 3 days a week, a remarkable achievement, they were our human dynamos! When we could afford it, we welcomed our participants to a food-sharing, provided by our volunteers. We maintained contact within a wide network of local, regional and national organisations. Inspired by the responses from our participants, we continued to meet a growing need, provide a warm welcome and a hub to connect with others with shared languages.
