Summary of the maln actlvltles undertaken for the publlc beneflt We relleve the suffering ol animals in need of care and attention and, in particular provide and malntain rescue homes or other facilities for the reception. care and treatment of such anlmals. We provide safe refuge and housing for cats in need, through abandonment or neglert. All cats are provided with bed, warmth, food and paraslte IatMent, and are assessed and treated as required by our vets. Our fosters provide temporary homes and care for our cats until they are permanently rehomed and our rehoming team carry out homechecks for their potential new homes. Summary of the maln a¢hlevement5 durlng ihe perlod During this financial period, the charity ha5 taken in and successfully rehomed 150 cats and kittens. All of these cats have gone on to live happy and cared for lives with their new famllle5 and the new owners, have been positlvely impacted through welcoming their new companions into their families.

Independent examiner's report to the trustees of Cheshire Cats Rescue CIO For the period ended 30 April 2023 I report on the accounts of the charity which are set out on pages 5 to 7. Respectlve responsibilities of trustees and examlner The charity's trustee5 are responsible for ihe preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees conder that an audit is not required for this period under section 144121 of the Charities Act 2011 Ithe 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed. It Is my responsibility to: examlne the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act; follow the procedures laid down In the general direCon5 glven by the Charity Commissioners under section 14515llbl of the 2011 Act; and state whether particular matters have come to my attention Basls of Independent examlner's report My examination was carried out in accordance wlth the Eeneral dlrections glven by the Charlty Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charlty and comparlson of the accounts presented with those records.
