Independent Exarninerfs Report I have examined the financial records and supporting records for the Dogs First charity for the period 18 April 2022 to 31 August 2023. It was noted that the charity's financial year will normally be from the I September to the 31 August, but that these accounts cover a period of almost 17 months from the registration ot the charity to the 31" August 2023. Having qualified ACMA and CIPFA, although no longer a member of either body, and with many years accounting and audit experience. I have the required experience to undertake the inspection of the accounts. I have completed my examination and can confirm that there are no material matters that need to be to draw to the trustees, attention. However. the format of the records, while accurate and adequate for the day-to-day management of the charity, do not lend themselves to the preparation of final accounts. It is recommended that the style of financial record keeping should be reviewed. John Harvey ndependent Examiner 2nd October 2024 Notes to the Accounts Jjoknlo￿￿- While Ihe accounts have been prepared on an accrual basis, there were no outstandingtransactlons at the year end.
