The CIO is managed by the Trustees with delegated authority to the managers of the adult teams and to the leaders of the youth and girls/women sections. Coplestonians FC have held CIO status effective 13/4/2022 and the original Trustees were drawn from the committee that were directing and managing prior to that date. It is envisaged we will introduce new Trustees and/or replace retiring Trustees as time moves on. ## **ACTIVITIES AND OBJECTIVES** The objectives of the charity are: ‘The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in the east Ipswich area, including the catchment of Copleston High School and it’s feeder primary schools, by the provision of playing football’. ## **ACHIVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE** We were instrumental in the provision of a 3G pitch at Copleston and have ‘Preferred Partner’ status as designated by the Football Foundation. There are over 1,000 persons playing and participating, covering adults, veterans, walking football, disabled, youth and girls/women. There are in excess of 350 home and visiting parents and supporters at Copleston over a weekend. Coplestonians are viewed by the county Football Association as a ‘Beacon Club’ and holds a 3* Club Designation, the highest possible standing for a grassroots football club.
